I'm a Data Engineer located in Newcastle, UK. With over years of experience, I've been primarily focused on building large ETL/ELT pipelines and developing data solutions for various clients and industries.

At the moment, I am employed at tombola, one of the leading online Bingo companies in the UK and a part of the Flutter UKI group. My everyday job is centered around creating and maintaining data infrastructure that can handle heavy loads without breaking, and this has sparked my interest in the performance and optimisation of the data warehouse. While trustworthy flowing of data is essential, what really captivates me is making that happen efficiently at scale.

I am the kind of person who likes to get in there and take a hands-on approach, whether that means starting something new or performing a bit of cleanup on existing pipelines. For me, it's about constructing things that are functional and effective rather than just being good on paper.
